1990 with the following persons in attendance;

Chairman Walter called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m., and hearing
no cbjectiOTS or changes to the minutes of the Septenber 6th meeting,
declared same approved as mailed.
The following applications for variance were heard:
Michael J. Temus, Anoka, MJ, requested permission to construct porch 28' fron Marion lite, on Lot 3, Art's North Shore, Rush Lake Township.
After consideration, motion was made by Victor Petterson, secxsnded ty
John Everts and isianimously carried, to deny, no adequate hardship
shown.

Chester Kaiser, Sioux City, lA, requested pertnissicn to r^laoe a mobile
hone 53' from East Lost Lake, on Lot 3, TradeMells, Sverdrrp Township. Letters received were read. AFter consideration, moticn was made by
Victor Petterson, seconded by Daniel Oehler and unanimously carried,
to allow placement of the mobile hone no less than 70 feet from lake, hardship being terrain, substandcurd lot of record, an inprovement over
existing situation, with the old trailer being removed.
Noibert L. t Ernestine M. Ewals, Dent, W, requested permission to
enclose existing 20' x 16' deck, on lot 1, Fawn Oaks Developnent,
Big McDonald Lake inEdna Township. After ocnsideration, motion was
made by Jchn Everts, seconded by Craig Anderson and carried with Carl
Johnson voting "no", to deny, no adequate harxlship shown.
Floyd L. Melin, Maple Grow, MN, requested a 100' set back for con
struction of duelling cn a tract in G.L. 5, Section 6, Dead Lake Town
ship on Deaui Lake. AFter consideration, motion was node by Victor
Petterson to grant a variance, placing cabin 135' from the lake. The
motion was seconded by Carl Johnson but failed with John Everts, Cradg
Anderson and George Walter voting "no". Motion was then made by Victor
Petterson to allow placing the dulling 150' from the lake. The motion
was seconded by Craig Anderson and carried with Carl JChnson voting
"no". Hardship being terrain.
Dorothy Morgen, Battle Lake, MN, requested permission to construct a
16' X 22' garage 5'3" from road rii^t-of-w^ cn Lot 2, Ckeson Beach,
Eagle Lake in Eagle Lake Township. After consideraticn, motion was
made by Victor Petterscxi, seconded by John Everts and unanimously car
ried, to approve as requested, hardship being terrain, substandard lot
of record, and no precedence being set.

Gerald Schultz, Ten Mile Lake Resort, Dalton, fN, requested permission
to remove a 3 bedroom cabin and exchange for 3 additional Ccupsites
in G.L. 3, Section 21 and G.L. 1, Section 28, Timuli Township cn Ten
After ocnsideration, motion was made by Carl Johnson,
secxaxded by Craig Andersen and inanimously carried, to accept the rec-
enmendatien of the planning oomnission and grant two additional c:anp-
sites after removal of the three bedroom cabin.
