To Whom It May Concern: Perry Kugler 1331 Westwood Court Willmar, MN 56201 has made application to the Otter Tail County Board of Adjustment for a variance as per requirements of the Otter Tail County Shoreland Management Ordinance and/or the Subdivision Controls Ordinance. After consideration, motion was made by Randall Mann second by David Trites and-unanimously carried to approve a variance of 16’ from the required road right-of-way setback of 20’ for the placement of a structure 4’ from the traveled surface of the easement and to deny the variance as requested for the drain field location. It should be noted that ingress and egress will be from the applicants’ lot and if the variance is approved an existing 6’ by 8’ shed would be eliminated. The property is described as Lot 16, Sand Dee Cove Beach, Lake Lida in Lida Township. A letter from Joseph and Colleen Fjelstad in favor of the applicants’ request was read for the record. After consideration, motion was made by Randall Mann, second by David Holmgren and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 7’ from the recfuired road right-of-way setback of 20’ and a variance of 4’ from the required side lot line setback of 10’ for the replacement of the existing structure with a new 20’ 4” by 22’ 4” garage, with an attached 12’ by 12’ workshop, 13’ from the road right-of-way and 6’ from the side lot line.with the condition that an existing 6’ by 8’ shed must be removed as stated in the applicants’ application. It was noted that the ingress and egress to the proposed structure would be from the applicants’ lot and at a right angle to the road. Hardship is a substandard lot of record. Wayne Heikes - Denied Wayne Heikes, Rogers, MN, requested a variance of 3’ from the required 10’ drain field setback for the placement of a 24’ by 30’ garage 7’ from the drain; field.
