The screen porch will be placed on top of the deck. The property is described as the east one half of Lots 13 and 14, Parkdale Beach, Swan Lake in Dane Prairie Township. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. A letter from Stacey and Jason Vaughn in favor of the variance request was read for the record. After consideration, motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Cecil Femling and unanimously carried, to deny the variance as requested as no adequate hardship had been shown. The applicant was given until November 1st to resolve the present situation. Donald and Janet Grebln - Approved Donald and Janet Grebin, Sioux Falls, SD, requested a variance to attach Lot 10, Eagle Lake Beach to Lot 9, Eagle Lake Beach and to reduce the width of Lot 11 on the road side from 75' to 60' so that the applicants can maintain the required 10' side lot line setback for an existing dwelling on Lot 10. Presently, Lots 10 and 11 are owned jointly by Donald and Janet Grebin and Lot 9 is owned by Janet Grebin. The property is described as Lots 9, 10, and 11, Eagle Lake Beach, Eagle Lake in Eagle Lake Township. Appearing at the hearing with the applicants was Milt Paulson. After consideration, motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously carried, to approve the location of a storage shed no closer than 54' to the ordinary high water level with the condition that an existing shed located 8' from the ordinary high water level will be removed immediately and that a second storage shed will be removed upon construction of the new structure. Ron Grobeck - Approved Ron Grobeck, Omaha, NE, requested a variance of approximately 50' from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100' for the construction of a new dwelling 50' from the ordinary high water level. The property is described as Lot 5, Block 1, Buehler's Addition, Sybil Lake in Hobart Township. The applicant was represented at the hearing by John and Janet Turgeon. After consideration, motion was made by Carl Johnson, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously carried, to approve construction of a dwelling no closer than 50' to the ordinary high water level.
