LADDY L. CUSICK - APPROVED
Laddy L Cusick, Perham, MN, requested a variance to construct a 20' by 27.5' attached garage
to the existing home with a 9' setback from the road right-of-way Instead of the required 20'
setback from the road right-of -way. The property is described as a Tract In Oovernment Lot 1
called Lot 2 and the E1 /2 of Lot 1, Si. Lawrence 6each, Rush Lake In Rush Lake Township.
Letters in favor of this variance request were received from the following individuals: Helen
Boedtgheimer, Harry and Ethelyn Moe, and Ned and Betty Lather. The audience was polled with
no one speaking for or against this request. After consideration, motion was made by Victor
Petterson, seconded by Cecil Femling and unanimously carried, to approve a 9' setback from the
road right-of way instead of the required 20' setback. Hardship being a substandard lot of
record and the granting of this variance will allow the applicant to enjoy the same rights and
privileges of others in this area.
PALMER ARDEN NYBERG - TABLED
Palmer Arden Nyberg, Vining, MN, requested a variance to split Lot P, which Is 277', Auditor
Sub-Division ^ 101, East Battle Lake In Girard Township, and add 23' from an adjacent parcel
to create two parcels each with 150' of lake frontage. The audience was polled with no one
speaking for or against this request. As neither the applicant or his representative were able to
attend this meeting a motion was made by Victor Petterson, seconded by Dan Oehler and unanimously carried, to table this variance request until the November meeting.
WIIBERT LENZEN - APPROVED
Wilbert Lenzen, Chaska, MN. requested a variance to construct a 6' by 26' addition to the
existing cabin 30' from the shoreline A variance of A5' from the required 75’ setback. The
property is described as Lot 1, Klien's Beach and adjacent lot. Morion Lake in Rush Lake
Township A letter from Steven Erie In favor of this variance request was read for the record.
The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against this request. After consideration,
motion was made by Cecil Femling, seconded by Victor Petterson and unanimously carried, to
approve the construction of the addition 30' from the shoreline by granting a 45' variance.
Hai dshlp being a substandard lot of record. The addition will be no closer to the lake than the
existing structure.

motion was made by Victor Petterson, seconded by Dan Oehler and unanimously carried, to
approve a split from the existing parcel of less than 2.5 acres with the following conditions; A
surveyor's drawing must be provided of the new parcel, the 50' by 150' parcel on the north
side of the road must be attached to the newly created parcel and ownership of the 50' by 150'
parcel must be establtstied.

setbacks. The property is described as lots 1,2, 3 and part of 4, Eagle Lake Beach on Eagle Lake
in Eagle Lake Township. John and Mary Sinko represented this variance request. The audience
was polled with Marty Eitreim speaking for the variance request. No one spoke against this
request. After consideration, motion was made by Victor Petterson, seconded by Cecil Femling
and unanimously carried, to approve the variance as requested with the condition that the new
structure wilt be no closer to the lake than 75^ from the ordinary high water mark. New
structure must be at least 75' from the ordinary high water mark. No additional variances are
required for the location of this new structure.

construction of a 24' by 24' attached garage. The property is described as Lot 19, Basswood
Ridge, South Turtle Lake in Tordenskjold Township. Harry Sell appeared along with Mrs. TJaden
to represent this variance request. The audience was polled with Frank Randall and Gerald Stine
speaking against this variance request. Marilyn SelTspoke in favor of this request. A petition
opposing this variance request was presented and read for the record. The petition was signed
by the following: Dale Stine, Frank Randall, Gerald Stine, Norman Worum, Harry Gerhard. Pat
Hardesty. Jeff Courtney, Marjorie Berg and Loren Finseth. After consideration, motion was
made by Cecil Femling, seconded by Victor Petterson and unanimously carried, to table the
variance request until the October 3rd, 1991 meeting for the purpose of obtaining additional
information and measurements.
