FERGUS ‘«LL$. / MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE OTTER TAIL COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT November 1, 1984 I i ■ The Otter Tail County Board of Adjustment met Thursday, Novatiber 1, 1984, in the County Board Rcon, Courthouse, Fergus Falls, MN, with George VJalter, Roger Marty, June I^an, Thomas Stringer, Craig Anderson and John Everts present. Chairman Walter declared the meeting open at 7:00 p.m and with a correction on• t the minutes of October 4 on the Jean Goff approval to read "one dwelling on each lot, trailer on one lot and cabin on the other lot", said minutes were approved as corrected.i iThe following applications for variance were heard: j Donald Boon, Wheaton, MN, requested permission to split one parcel into two of less than 2^5 acres, one with 100' of frontage, 20,000 square feet of area, the other 160' frontage with 20,000 square feet of area, in G.L. 2, Section 11^, Eagle Lake Township.f After consideration, motion was made John Everts to approve, for the reason the i lots are adequate in size, are larger than most of the other lots in the area, have adequate lake frontage, and will have a surveyor's drawing, no precedence being set in this area as. it is totally developed.The motion was seconded Craig Anderson ; and carried. Louisa Horstmann, New York Mills, MN, requested permission to convey a parcel of less than 2h acres without platting or without providing a surveyor's drawing, out of the E?5SE^ of Section 7, Bluff ton Township. ; After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by Roger Marty and carried, to approve, fits rules for adequate building site, approved vfLthout applicant being present as reasonable not to expect a ladyt of the applicant's age to drive that many miles into Fergus Falls to attend hearing.
