DATE. September 4, 1991 Otter Tail County Planning Commission Re; Request of Terrance Nelson to build new road by Oceson Beach on SagIs Lake. First I will state that I am not opposed to the new road. However I am concerned about additional water that will be channelled by the new road from the hill to the East, back to my Lot #10, I presently get the water from a culvert on Twp. road T1177 and the addition of more run-off could create problems in the spring as far as access to my property, Preseni.iythis water follows the present ditch, which is also a natural water-way to the East to a filtering basin after which it enters a pipe to the Lake by WestraS. If the Commission approves this new road, I would ask that said approval contain the following stipulation: That whan the Township lays down the present road and it is turned over to the various Lot owners, that the present Ditch along the Northeasterly side shall not be filled in or additional approaches be built unless culverts are installed so that the flow of water in this natural water-way is not stopped and thus creating problems for Lots 7-8-9-10-11, which would ai 1 be affected if this water backs up. This could be monitored by Shoreling Management. Again, I am not opposed to the road being moved, but a stipulation to this affect would be a protection to the above numbered Lots. This new road will greatly benefit the shallow Lots, but lets not chance damagihg other properties to accomplish this. Thank you, Donald C. Berge^ Lot #10 Eagle Lake.
