The proposed 24’ by 28’ garage will be approximately 158’ from the ordinary high water level of the lake. The required ordinary high water level setback is 200’. The drawing submitted with the variance application indicates an area described as back water. The drawing also provides distances from the proposed structures to the back water area. Variances from the back water area will be necessary if the back water area is considered a part of the lake. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested. After discussion and consideration, Steve Schierer made a motion, second by Michael Harris and unanimously carried, to approve the variance as requested in the application dated April 19*^'2006 and as depicted on the drawing dated May 2, 2006.
