Ted and Sara Hagen - Approved the variance request as modified with conditions. (8:36 p.m.) Ted and Sara Hagen, part of lot 30 and all of Lot 31, Block 1 Crystal Beach, West McDonald Lake in Dora Township, requested a variance of 25’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100’ for the ■ construction of a new residence 75’ from the ordinary high water level. The placement of the new structure in this location will allow the existing sewer septic drain field to be reused. The audience was polled with Leonard Walton speaking for the variance as requested. After consideration and discussion, Michael Conlon made a motion, second by Randall Mann and unanimously carried, to approve the proposed development being no closer to the ordinary high water level than what is permitted when establishing the general building line from the existing trailer house on Lot 29 to the existing deck on Lot 32 as depicted in blue and circled in yellow on the drawing dated September 13, 2005 with the condition that no more than 25% of the total lot area can be covered with impervious surfaces and with the condition that an existing garage must be removed. The applicant noted that the plan is to remove all existing structure. The variance as approved does not directly or indirectly grant any other variances for the proposed development.
