Herbst, part of Government Lot 5, Section 6 of Gorman Township by Murphy Lake, requested the following: Easement will be filed and recorded on Tract A for drain field being 45’ due north of northern lot line of Tract C. Drain field to cross-existing lot line of Tract C into easement a maximum of 35 feet. Mary Ebeltroft represented the applicant at the public hearing. A letter from Gorman Township authorizing the placement of a drain field up to the road right-of-way was noted for the record. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested. After discussion and consideration, motion was made by Steve Schierer, second by Cecil Femling and unanimously carried, to approve the placement of a drain field 0’ from the lot line and 0’ from the road right- of-way as depicted on the drawing submitted by the applicant at the public hearing with the condition that a letter of approval must be obtained from the township and with the condition that a letter must also be obtained the Ralph Herbst the adjacent property owner.
