Chairman Nelson declared the meeting cpen to the pi±)lic.At 1:00 p.m• f
George Klein & Associates appeared before the Board and discussed the
design phase of the preposed jail renovation-remodeling project.Motion was made by
Bert Hovland to appoint Van Ellig, Nub Nordgren and Larry Krchn to serve as a cornni tt.ee
to assimilate and accumulate data for space detail and needs for all court functions
The motion failed for lack of a second.tying in with jail needs.
Ancfy Leitch to appoint Mike Kirk, Hub Nordgren, Larry Krohn, John Halvorson and Ken
Motion was made
The motion was seconded by Sydney Nelson but failed
with Hub Nordgren, Bert Hovland and Sydney Nelscn voting "no".

appointed Hub Nordgren, Van Ellig and Larry Krohn as a comittee to work with Geo.
Klein & Associates to assemble information requested.
Motion was made by Hub Nordgren, seconded by Van Ellig and carried.
to ^prove an agreement and the Chairman of the Board and County Auditor were authorized
to sign said agreement on behalf of the County to formulate the design documents in
conjunction with the proposed jail project.
