RE: Planning Commission Meeting.
Dear James Osterman:
This is to inform you of the action taken by the Otter Tall County Planning
Commission at their November 7, 1990 meeting. A motion vas passed to to
deny your Conditional Use Application, reasons being: 1. Approval would
set an undesirable precedent in this area. 2. The response was more
excessive than was required to deal with the erosion problem. 3. Complete
restoration to the previous condition does not appear to be the most
appropriate response for a reconciliation. 4. Hr. Osterman's Intentions
appear to be innocently motivated. 5. It is encouraged for Land & Resource
to research a way to minimize the impact on the area. 8. Land & Resource
should consider a possibility of screening the terrace walls.
The Otter Tall County Board of Commissioners will consider this
