MKL-0871-010 171988® vieTe* LuDDiciieo.. piiiiin**. rcMut fall*, hinm. > 4 June 4, 1977 Malcolm K, Lee Administrator Dept, of Land & Resource Management County of Otter Tail Fergus Flails, Minn, 56537 TOi Recommendations & limitations for filling in Special Use Permit of Ray Hudson on Lots 19 & 20 of Grace-Etta Beach, FROMj We, the undersigned, hereby make the following recommendations and limit­ ations for filling on Lots 19 and 20 of Grace-Etta Beach by Ray Hudson, Be allowed to fill both lots up level with the bottom of the wood siding along the sides of building (approx, Ij ft, of fill needed out and away from sides of building), beginning on a line at lake end of building and extending to a line 35 feet beyond road end of building, except the 20 feet next to lot 21 between the ridge and the road right-of-way and the 35 feet next to lot 18 between ridge and the road right-of-way. These areas will be filled to lot lines on a 4 to 1 slope and 7 to 1 slope, respectively. This arrangement will provide a level spot back of garage and dwelling for parking of car and making a turnaround so won't have to back out onto town­ ship road. Maximum fill in back of building will be approximately 5 feet at deepest point. 1. 2 Be allowed to fill from lake erai of building toward lake, filling to be from approximately Ij feet down to 0 so as to blend in with adjoining lots 18 & 21, This will bring level of lots 19 & 20 back close to original height before ridge was cut down. All filling will include the 3 to 6 inch layer of black dirt needed to seed down fill­ ed area. 3, Be allowed to fill from road right-of-way to allowed level area of lots on a approximately 7 to 1 slope. No filling to be allowed in road right-of-way except for an approach on each lot. Approaches not to be more than 22 feet in width and will not be any higher than driving surface of township road within the road right-of-way. No culverts believed needed for approaches at this time. If ever needed, property owner agreed he would put them in. In conclusion, we want to re-affirm our opposition to the way these lots were cut down and all the trees removed.
