Proposed Use of Land: construct year-around dwellings on both parcels. We request
1,000 to 1,200 yards of fill and to shave the existing bank by 2 to2]/? feet
and blend the bank and fill to level the lot. A slope on each side of the
parcels will nrovide natural water run-off to the ditch. The work will be
comnleted by John Christianson and will begin no closer than 3C feet from the
high water mark.

2. Owner is legally responsible for all surface water drainage that may occur.
3. No fill shall enter or be taken from the beds of a public water without a valid permit from the State of Minnesota Depart
ment of Natural Resources.
4. If the terms of this permit are violated the entire permit may be revoked and the owner may be subject to legal prosecu-

A motion by Schwartz, second by Trites to approve the conditional
use application and preliminary plat of South Oaks. Don Drever.
Buchanon Lake, No. 56-209, GD on Pt of G.L. 2 & G.L. 3 and Pt of
SE 1/4 of SW 1/4, Section 1 of Otter Tail Township as presented
provided that either - 1. The 2 unnumbered areas be attached to
the neighboring lots or 2. The areas be numbered and labeled
"unbuildable" on the plat. David Anderson spoke to the
commission.
Voting; All members in favor, except Stringer abstained.
Approved;
A motion by Schwartz, second by Olson to approve the conditional
use application of Steve Knutson and Kris Davick. West Battle
Lake, No. 56-239, GD, on Lots 14 and 15 of Grace-Etta Beach,
Section 20 of Girard Township to allow fill as was allowed on lot
16, must slope at least 6 inches from front to back of lot (30
feet from the high water mark away from the lake), there must be
drainage area between lots 15 & 16 & then to drain to the
township road ditch, the fill on lot 15 is not to be higher than
the fill on lot 16, also, mist taper lot 14 to meet lot 13.

A motion By Lachowitzer, second by Portmann to approve the
preliminary plat of Replat A of Oasis Acres. Herb Meier, of Lot
1, Block 1 of Oasis Acres, Section 22 of Perbam Township as
presented providing Outlet A & B continue to remain part of the
original plat, and also any conditions that were placed on the
original plat remain with this plat. Mr. & Mrs. James Huebscb
spoke to the commission.

A motion by Portmann, second by Femling to approve the
conditional use application of Lloyd Amundson. West Leaf Lake,
No. 56-114, RD, on 151.7 Acres in Sections 20 & 21 of Leaf Lake
Township providing a Soil Conservation Service plan reveals that
water will not be backed-up onto the neighbors or that it will
not affect the flow of the water from the neighbors, and if such
occurs, Mr. Amundson will take steps to rectify the situation.
Gordon Ziese, Larry Stafonic, Jaqk Stafonoc & Deraid Cordes spoke
to the commission.
