The measurement is to be determined by the Land and Resource Management Department. It was noted that this method of measurement was used prior to 1992 on this lake and allowing the applicants to use these measurement methods will enable them to enjoy the same rights and privileges as the neighbors in the immediate area. Our intent is to cement the bottom of the crawl space to seal it and provide for storage and some utilities. !•- Shoreland Management has determined that floors for crawl spaces are to be included in determining the lowest floor. The ordinance requires 3 feet between the top of the lowest floor and the OHWL. V r_ ;-t. A representative of Shoreland Management has calculated that the present ground level at the building site is 4 feet above the OHWL. In consideration that the floor joists will sit 1-1 1/2 feet above the present ground level, it is necessary to request a variance of 2 feet to ensure a cement floor crawl space of 4-4 1/2 feet. Please note that this variance request is not a precedent for North Point Beach' Lots along the beach are level and other dwellings have cement in crawl spaces.
