Kalar, Land & Resource Management CALL TO ORDER Chairman Walter declared the meeting open at 7:00 p.m., and hearing no changes or corrections of the September meeting, declared same approved as mailed. The following requests for variance were considered: MINUTES APPROVED Donna Tverberg , Pipestone, MN, requested permission to divide a 4.64 acre parcel into two equal size lots with 110' of shoreline, out of G.L. 2, Section 13, Amor Township on Walker Lake. After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson to deny, to allow would be establishing a precedence in the reduction of the minimum lakeshore as required in the ordinance. The motion was seconded by John Everts and carried unanimously. DONNA TVERBERG DENIED Michael J. Muston, Coon Rapids, MN, requested permission to sell a portion of Lot 1, Lazy Acres, Marion Lake in Rush Lake Township, to the owner of Lot 10 Art's North Shore, for the purpose of making Lot 10 larger. After consideration, motion was made by Cnaig Ander­ son, seconded by John Everts and unanimously carried, to table. MICHAEL J. MUSTON TABLED David H. Hansen, Clarissa, MN, requested permission to allow a screen house, as remodeled and upgraded, on Lot 25, Fair Oaks, West Battle Lake in Girard Township. John Everts to deny, no adequate hardship shown, to allow would es­ tablish a precedence as there are no similar buildings so located in the area, allowing until June 1, 1989 to be removed. The motion was seconded by David Trites and carried unanimously. Donald W. Oscarson, Fergus Falls, MN, requested permission to con­struct a 12' X 22’ (an additional 2' from the original application) at the 4' set back as the original building, on Lot 15, Haggstrom’s Subdivision of Reserve E S F, on Pickeral Lake in Maine Township. After consideration, motion was made by Daniel Oehler to grant variance for proposed addition, on set back already established, hardship being a substandard lot of record, and being able to enjoy the same rights and privileges as the neighbors enjoy. The motion was seconded by JOhn Everts and carried. DAVID H. HANSON DENIED After consideration, motion was made by DONALD W. OSCARSON APPROVED DeWAYNE ANDERSON DENIED DeWayne A. Anderson, Fergus Falls, MN, requested permission to build a 9' wide carport along side of cottage, 2' from lot line, on Lot 6, Jonelsa Beach. Otter Tail Lake in Amor Township, tion, motion was made by David Trites to deny, as there is adequate room on the lot for a carport at another location. The motion was seconded by John Everts and carried. After COnsidera- OUANr L. TOSO ULNhl) Duane L. Toso, Pelican Papids, MN, requested permission to split a 4.62 acre parcel into three lots, two with 100 foot lake frontage, one back lot, in G.L. 7, Section 11, Pelican Township on Prairie Lake. After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson to deny, inadequate lake frontage, to allow would establish a precedence in the area.
