After additional discussion the applicants (Roger and Janis Farley) would prefer that the board deny their request as the motion being offered only establishes a building setback line and does not guarantee that the lot will be buildable should other permits be necessary to address drainage and/or grade and fill issues. After additional discussion the previously offered motion was withdrawn. After additional consideration, motion was made by Randall Mann, second by Robert Schwartz and unanimously carried, to deny the variance as requested based on the concern that the lot may not be buildable because of water/drainage issues that may need to be addressed before development can occur.
