Eldevik, Wadena, MN, requested a variance to construct a 26' by 70' home, v.'ith attached garage, 35' from the ordinary high water mark. The required setback is 100', The property is described as Lot 4, Pebble Bay, West Leaf Lake in Leaf Lake Township. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After consideration ,imotion was made by Craig _ Anderson, seconded by Dan Oehler and unanimously carried to approve a 65' variance from the required setback of 100' and a variance from the shore impact zone area for the'cdnstruction of a 26' by 70' home. No additional variance should be required. The structure will be no closer to the lake than the neighbors on either side and the lot is a substandard lot. SCOTT J. MALMSTROM-APPROVED '7Scott J, flalmstrom, Clitherall, MN, requested a variance of 20 ' for the construction of a 20' by 24'. building that would be adjoining the south end of the drainfield. The required setback from the drainfield is 20', The property is described as Lot 8, Fair Oaks, West Battle Lake in -Girard Township. The audience was polled with no_one speaking for or against the request. After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by Dan Oehler and carried with John Everts abstaining, to grant a 10' variance from the required drainfield setback of 20' for the construction of a 24' by 24'structure and the applicant must also provide adequate water drainage away from the drainfield.
