Motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by George Walter and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of
2’ from the required east side lot line setback of 10’ and a variance of 2’ from the required west side lot line setback of
10’ for the placement of a 28’ by 59’ mobile home 8’ from the east side lot line and 8’ from the west side lot line.

V^l and Paula Dietz - Approved
Val and Paula Dietz, Maple Grove, MN, requested a variance to build a 34’ by 42’ structure 103’ from the ordinary
high water mark and a variance to place a portion of a 12’ by 42’ deck within the bluff impact zone. Please note that
all of the 12’ by 42’ deck is located within the 30’ top of bluff setback area, but only approximately 2’ of the 12’ by 42’
deck is located in the bluff impact zone. The property is described as Lot 7, Oakridge Beach, Otter Tail Lake in Amor
Township. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After consideration, motion was
made by Craig Anderson, seconded by Randall Mann and carried with John Everts and Cecil Femling voting no, to
grant a variance of 7.5’ from the required top of bluff setback of 30’ for the placement of a 12’ by 42’ deck 22.5’ from
the top of the bluff. It was noted that the water drains toward the road away from the lake.
Bonnie K. Werpy - Approved
Bonnie K. Werpy, Watertown, SD, requested a variance of 2’ from the required east side lot line setback of 10’ and a
variance of 2’ from the required west side lot line setback of 10’ for the placement of a 28’ by 59’ mobile home 8’ from
the east side lot line and 8’ from the west side lot line. The property is described as Lot 13, First Addition to South
Point, West Battle Lake in Girard Township. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the
variance request. After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by George Walter and
unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 2’ from the required east side lot line setback of 10’ and a variance of
2’ from the required west side lot line setback of 10’ for the placement of a 28’ by 59’ mobile home 8’ from the east
side lot line and 8’ from the west side lot line.
