Minnesota MINOTES CF OHE MEETING CF THE OTTER TAIL CXXJNIY BOARD CF ADItETMENT May 3, 1990 The Otter Tail County Board of Adjustment met Thursday, Miy 3, 1990, with the following persons in attendance; George Walter, Chairman Dan Oehler John Everts Craig Anderson Victor Petterson Carl T. Johnson Vin. Kalar, Land 6 Resouroe Chairman Walter ceilled the meeting to order at 7:00 p,m., and hearing no oorrections to the minutes of the ^aril 5th meeting, declared same c^sproved as mailed. The following requests for variaiKe were heard: Duane L. Ulschmid, Fargo, ND, requested permission to replace or re­ pair existing garage on same foundation, on Sublot F of G.L. 3, Section 10, Dunn Township. After ccnsideration, motion was made by Victor Petterson, second^ by Daniel O^iler and unanimously carried, to approve a new structure of the same size on the same foundation, hardkiip being a substandard lot of record and being able to enjoy the same rights and privileges as others in the area enjoy. Robert MoGinnis, Battle Lake, MJ, requests permission to construct a 24' X 24' garage, 3' from road right-of-w£y, asking for a 17' variance, on a tract in G.L. 1, known as Raddahl Survey Lots (Called Lot 24), on West Battle Lake in Clitherall Ttwnship. motion was made ty Carl Johnson, seconded hy Victor Petterson and carried with John Everts abstaining, to grant a 15' variance, to be 5' from road ri^t-of-way, hardship being an unusual road ricfit- of-way, and the terrain of the property. Herbert Christensen, Battle Lake, MN, requested permission to split off a 100’ parcel from a 400' lakeshore property, out of Lot 1 6 NETtNEi^ of Section 31, Otter Tail Township, on Otter Tail Lake, with­ out platting. After consideration and some discussion, the appli­ cant withdrew his request. HERBERT CHRISTENSEN WITHDRAWN William Chsey, Fergus Falls, EN, requested permission to construct cin 8' X 12* addition to cottage, 8' from property line, on Lot 7, South Point on West Battle Lake, (Girard Township. After consideration, motion was made by J<ohn Everts, seconded by Dan O^er and unani­ mously carried, to approve variance as requested, hardship being a lew configuration, substandard lot of record, no throui^ road creating ary hazardous conation, addition to be no closer to lot line than existing cottage. Ken Peterson, FergvB Falls, MN, requested permission to subdivide a parcel containing 11.3 acres with approximately 412' lake frontage into two parcels each containing 206' lake frontage and 1.95 acres on dry ground, in the NESjSE% of Section 9, Eagle Lake Township on Middle Lake (non meandered lake). After oonsideration, motion was made hy Craig Anderson, seconded hy John Everts and carried, to table until a building line at 200' can be established that is suitable, ftotion was then nwdp by Victor Petterson, seconded by John Everts and carried, to reotaisicter. After additional consideration, notion was made by (Graig Anderson, seconded by Victor Petterson to grant variance, with submission of a drawing by a registered land surveyor, and a building line established.
