'i—OJ»_ 6/4 SHORELAND MANAGEMENT ORDINANCE - DIVISION OF EMERGENCY SERVICE - SUBDIVISION CONTROL ORDINANCE SOLID WASTE ORDINANCE SEWAGE SYSTEM CLEANERS ORDINANCE - RECORDER, OTTER TAIL COUNTY PLANNING ADVISORY COMMISSION RIGHT-OF-WAY SETBACK ORDINANCE FUEL AND ENERGY COORDINATION MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE OTTER TAIL COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT February 2, 1984 The Otter Tail County Board of Adjustment met Thursday, February 2, 1984, with George Walter, Craig Anderson, Everts present. June Ryan, Tom Stringer and John Chairman Walter opened the meeting at 7:00 p.m.. Hearing no additions or cor'recLIons to the minutes oT the Ueceiiibei' meeting, declared same approved as mailed. The following requests for variance were heard: George Sanstead, Pelican Rapids, MR, requested permission to convey a .49 acre parcel located in Section 23, Pelican Township, without platting. After discussion, motion was made by Craig Anderson to grant approval, situation dealing with a pre-ordinance situation with no way to accomplish the 40,000 square foot minimum requirement, pro­ perty adjacent to the City of Pelican Rapids. Motion was seconded by Tom Stringer stating relative factors being a definite piece of property with the river and the public road determining the absolute perameters in a unique geographic situation. The motion carried. Ardelle Brandt, Moorhead, MN, requested permission to construct a 16' x 20' addition onto existing dwelling on Lot 6, Sunrise View Beach, Lida Township. After discussion, motion was made by June Ryan to deny as presented. The motion was seconded by Tom Stringer. Motion was made by George Walter, seconded by Craig Anderson and carried with June Ryan and Tom Stringer voting "no", to table for further information. Leonard Renidz»CClitherall, MN, requested permission to allow a 10' x 12' storage shed to remain 20' from road on Lot 2, South Point on West Battle Lake, Girard Township. After discussion, motion was made by Tom Stringer, seconded by John Everts and carried, to allow the structi»re to remain at its present location until midnight. May 31, 1984. Arnold Erickson, Pelican Rapids, MN, requested permission to build a 24' x 26' garage approximately 25' from road right-of-way, on Lot 6 & W^s 7, Block 4, Lida Shores, Lida After presentation, motion was made by Tom Stringer ,to table, was seconded by Craig Anderson and carried. Leonard Rendz, Clitherall, MN request for consideration regarding plaoanent of a 10' X 12' storage shed on Lot 2 of South Point on Vtest Battle Lake fran the July meeting Motion was made Craig Anderson, seconded by Johnwas brought i:p for discussion. Everts and carried, to deny. Patrick Thaipson, Alexandria, MN, tabled from the July meeting, request for permission to allow an 8' x 12' storage shed to remain as placed on Lot 22 & 23 of Weston's 1st Add'n to Femcliffe on West Battle lake, Girard Township, was brought i?) for discussion. Motion was made by John Everts to approve location at no closer than 30' from the high-water-mark, hardship being able to enjoy same privileges as neighbors cn either side presently enjoy. The motion was seconded by Craig Anderson and carried with Thomas Stringer voting "no". Jean Glassmeyer, Cincinnatti, OH, tabled fran the July meeting, request for a one foot variance from sever line to well on Lot 21, Washburn Beach, Section 20, Dunn Motion was made by Craig Anderson, secondedTownship, was returned for discussion, by John Everts and carried, to table for the second time. With no further business, at 12:45 a.m., Friday, August 3, 1984, the meeting was adjourned.
