The applicant has given considerable thought to his plans and the granting of this variance request will allow the applicant to make the best use of his property. The addition will be no closer to the river channel than the existing structure. After additional consideration, motion was made by Dan Oehler, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously carried, to approve a 3' variance from the required side lot line setback of 10' for an addition of a 10' by 14' porch to an existing dwelling.
