Larry Krohn, Coordinator, informed the Board the Veterans Service van is having difficulties starting in the cold weather. Under general consent of the Board, it was determined to have a heater plug installed and have one of the service officers take the vehicle home when it is cold for the purpose of plugging it in. Olson and unani­mously carried, to place a $50.00 ad in the Otter Tail Lake Property Owners Association directory, to be paid from the Economic Development budget. Motion was made by Berton Hovland, seconded by Andy Lindquist and unani­ mously carried, to grant a step increase for Kim Mark, Assessor's office from a Range 13, Step 4 of $1,230, to Range 13, Step 5, of $1,315.00, and for Melanie Swanson from Range 11, Step 4, of $1095.00 to Range 11, Step 5 of $1 ,172.00. TELEPHONE SYSTEM UPGRADE Krohn reported on the telephone system upgrade, tentative schedule for bidding, needs, choices of switching systems, stating the specifi­ cations will be available for inspection by the Board by March 7th, installion of equipment by about June of 1988.
