Minnesota Chairman Otter Tail County Board of Adjustment MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE OTTER TAIL COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT September 4,1997 The Otter Tail County Board of Adjustment met Thursday, September 4, 1997, with the following persons in attendance: Craig Anderson John Everts Cecil Femling Randall Mann Robert Schwartz George Walter Patrick Eckert, Land and Resource Management Wally Senyk, County Attorney Call to Order - The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chairman George Walter. Minutes Approved - Hearing no corrections or additions the minutes of the August 7, 1997 and the August 14, 1997 meetings were approved as mailed. The following variance requests were heard: George B. Smith - Approved George B. Smith, Henning, MN, requested a variance to separate two substandard contiguous back lots for the purpose of conveying one of the back lots to the owner of Lot 5, Sanda’s Beach. Lot 5, Sanda’s Beach is a lake lot. The property is described as Lots 4 and 5, Sanda’s Beach Third Addition, East Battle Lake in Girard Township. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After discussion and consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by Roberts Schwartz and unanimously carried, to approve the conveyance of Lot 5, Sanda’s Beach Third Addition to the owner of Lot 5, Sanda’s Beach with the condition that the back lot (Lot 5, Sanda’s Beach Third Addition) must be permanently attached to the lake lot (Lot 5 Sanda’s Beach) and with the condition that Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4, Sanda’s Beach Third Addition must have common/same ownership. Edward Burnett - Approved Edward Burnett, Schuyler, NE, requested a variance of approximately 7’ from the required back lot line setback of 10’ and a variance of 2’ from the required structure setback of 10’ for the placement of a holding tank approximately 3’ from the back lot line and 8’ from the dwelling.
