Motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Cecil Femling and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 5’
from the required lot line setback of 10’ for the placement of a holding tank 5’ from the lot line and a variance of 5’ from
the required septic tank setback of 10’ for the placement of a proposed garage 5’ from the holding tank. Hardship is a
substandard lot of record. It was noted that a certified installer developed the plan for the septic system and the
applicant has made the other improvements as previously requested by the Board of Adjustment.

Curtis Osmondson, Underwood, MN, requested a variance of 20’ from the required ordinary high water
level setback of 100’ for the placement of an 18’ by 30’ garage 80’ from the ordinary high water level.
The property is described as Lots 3 and 4, Walls Lost Lake Beach, East Lost Lake in Sverdrup
Township. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After
consideration and discussion, motion was made by Cecil Femling, seconded by Dick Sha and
unanimously.carried, to approve a variance of 20’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of
100’ for the placement of an 18’ by 30’ garage 80’ from the ordinary high water level. It should be noted
that the applicant is moving his existing garage to a new site on his lot and that the placement of the
garage at this location will place the garage at a setback from the ordinary high water level which is
greater than the setback of the existing dwelling. It was also noted that the placement of the garage in
the proposed location will improve the applicant’s property and will allow better access for the
maintenance of the applicant’s existing dwelling.

water level setback of 100’ for a 24’ by 24’ addition to an existing dwelling 65’ from the ordinary high
water level. The property is described as part of the Southwest Quarter of Northwest Quarter, Section
22 of Erhards Grove Township by the Pelican River. The audience was polled with no one speaking for
or against the request. After consideration and discussion, motion was made by Cecil Femling,
seconded by Dick Sha and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 35’ from the required ordinary
high water level setback of 100’ for a 24’ by 24’ addition to an existing dwelling 65’ from the ordinary
high water level. It was noted that the proposed addition will provide the applicants with a reasonable
use of their property and the proposed addition will not restrict the view of the adjacent property
owners.
