I understand that I have applied for a variance from the requirements of the Shoreland Management Ordinance of Otter Tail County. ^ JjiFL:7=^ * Sigrlst^ Of Applicant <b(lL 2^..Application dated 19 19ALDate of hearing: ____^ MOTION AS FOLLOWS^ Time:M Motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Robert Schwartz and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of approximately 4 to 5’ from the required side lot line setback of 10’ for the addition of a railing to an existing deck approximately 5 to 6’ from the side lot line and a variance of 5’ from the required side lot line setback of 10’ for the location of a 16’ by 19’ structure approximately 5’ from the side lot line at its closest point. It was noted that the granting of this variance will allow the applicant to place an existing structure completely on the applicant’s own property. Due to a recent survey it has been determined that a portion of the applicant’s structure is on the neighbor’s property. In 1991 a survey was done for the neighboring property and showed how drastic the side lot lines shifted from the "assumed" perpendicular to the lake front. Consequently part A is over half on the neighboring property. I intend to remove part A and would like to rebuild and expand part B. One corner of B is located 7 feet from the lot line. Expanding B by an additional 5 feet places the corner at 5 feet from the side property line. The other corner of B adjacent to the side lot line is 10 feet from the line. R.
