The required setback Is 20’. The Property is described as Lot 2, Stenstrom's Beach. Long Lake in Elizabeth Township. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against this request. After consideration, motion was made by Victor Patterson, seconded by Dan Oehler and carried with Cecil Fern ling voting no to approve a 10' variance from the required 20' road right-of-way setback. No precedents are being set and the approval of this variance will allow the applicant to enjoy the same privileges as other property owners in the area. WILLARD DUDA - APPROVED Willard Duda, Battle Lake, MN, requested permission to enclose a 7' by 20' deck on the lake side of the home. This would be 40' from the lake, the required shoreline setback is 75'. Requesting a variance of 35‘. The property is described as Lot 20, Girard Beach, West Battle Lake in Girard Township. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against this request. After consideration, motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously carried, to approve the variance as requested. Hardship being that there are a number of substandard lots in the area and there are no precedents being established This is a second story to an existing foundation. WAYNE MCNALLY - TABLED Wayne McNally, Robbinsdale, MN, requested permission to place a pop-up camper (17') on Lot E of Auditor's Plat A-*^ 110. The camper would be legally located. This would be a second dwelling on the lot and be onsite during the construction of a garage. The property is on Stuart Lake in Nidaros Township. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against this request. The applicant did not appear and after consideration, motion was made by Victor Petterson. seconded by Dan Oehler and unanimously carried, to table this request until the July meeting. MILT A. LORENZ - APPROVED Milt A. Lorenz, Dent, MN, requested permission to construct a 12' by 22' garage on the east side of their home five feet from the side lot line. The requirement is 1 O'. The property is described as East 1/2 of lot 1, Hanniman Beach, Star Lake in Star Lake Township. A letter was read for the records from Mr, Ray Hudson stating no objection to the request. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against this request. After consideration, motion was made by Victor Petterson, seconded by Cecil Femling and unanimously carried, to approve a 5' variance from the required 1 O' side lot line setback. Hardship being a substandard lot of record and no precedents are being established.
