Francis G. Theede, VTahpeton, ND, requested permission to allow a
9ij X 8^' shed to remain as presently located 26' from lake, on Lot
24, Heilberger Lake Estates, Heilberger Lake, Friberg Township.
After listening to the various interested parties, motion was made by Roger Marty to approve a 3' x 4' shed, large enough to cover the
water softener. The motion was seconded by John Everts and carried
upon the follov/ing vote:
All voting in favor
Kenneth Nelson, Perham, MN, requested permission to convey three substandard parcels located in Section 10, Perham Township, which v/ill
eventually be included in a proposed plat of Country Pine Estates,
proposed for annexation to the City of Perham. Nelson was represented
by Terry Karkela, Attorney. After listening to the various interested
pjarties, motion was made by Craig Anderson to deny, no adequate hard
ship shown. The motion was seconded by Victor Petterson and carried
upon the following vote:

,vid Vanderberg, Sioux Center, lA, requested permission to change 'the lot line between Lots 8 & 9, Albrecht's Add'n to Nirvana, increasing
the lake frontage on Lot 9, on East Battle Lake, Nidaros Township.
After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson to deny, no
adequate hardship shown, contrary to terms of ordinance making a
substandard lot more substandard. The motion was seconded by John
Everts and carried upon the folloA'ing vote:

Paul S. Backen, West Fargo, ND, request for permissiai to construct a
vision obstructing fence on Lot 17, 1st Add'n to Jacob's Beach,
North Sahore, Prairie Lake in Pelican Township,- was tabled until the
Cfctcber meeting upon the request of the applicant.
Norrtan Long, Erhard, KN, requested permission to convey a paarcel of
land with 150' lake frontage, 450' deep, on Heilberger Lake, in
Section 10, Friberg Township. After consideration, motion was made
by Victor Petterson to approve, subject to surveyor's drawing. The
motion was seconded by Craig T^nderson and carried up»n the fr i lowing
vote:

John Marquart, Moorhead, MN, requested permission to convey five ^
parcels of less than 2.5 acres, with 97' lake frontage, on Fish Lake,
in Dunn Tovffiship. After consideration, motion was made by Craig
Anderson to deny subdividing without platting, but grant a variance
on an official plat of 3' per lot, allowing 97' lots rather than the
required 100', provided the lots are at least 250' in length. The
motion was seconded by Roger Marty and carried i^xcn the following
vote:

John J. KozitJca, Detroit Lakes, MN, requested permission to place a
24' X 40' garage 3' frcm right-of-v/ay on Lake Holbrook, in G.L. 9,
Section 1, Dunn Township. After consideration, motion was made by
Victor Petterson to approve at a 17' set back. The motion was
seconded ty Roger Marty and approved vdth the following vote:
All voting in favor
With no further business. Chairman Walter adjourned the meeting
at 11:58 p.m..

RE: Vanderberg request for variance
If the intention on this request for variance is for the purpose of ^building, on the
newly created lot 8, I would like to ej^ress itiy objection to permission to change the
lot line. To allow this change would make an already substandard )lot more substandard
and also create access problems.
