I would like to use the existing foundation. Approx, size of this foundation is 40’x 42’, with a height of 32”. This foundation is 77 ft. fi'om the creek. Regulations state 100 ft. setback. I have removed the pre-existing condemned structure, some of which was much closer than 77 feet firom the creek. A great deal of effort has been put into the cleanup of this property. I was able to salvage the foundation, which was approved for building somewhere in the vicinity of the year 1982. I would appreciate being given permission to build on the existing foundation, as it is good condition. 1 plan on building a two- bedroom cottage, and stay within the parameters of the existing foundation. 1 have filled the area to the north of the existing foundation, which was previously a crawlspace. I would prefer not to build on that ground. By allowing construction on the existing foundation, there would be less destruction to the premises. I ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT OTHER PERMITS MAY BE REQUIRED, IT IS MY RESPONSIBILITY TO CONTACT LAND & RESOURCE MANAGEMENT REGARDING THIS MATTER.
