Otter Tail County Board of Adjustment Ordinance
Land & Resource Director, Bill Kalar, submitted proposed language to the Otter Tail County Board
of Adjustment Ordinance. The County Attorney will schedule a public hearing date to consider the
enactment of the proposed language.

Duane & Marlene Peterson and Terry Anderson (surveyor) represented
the Plat/Application.
Daniel Gutknecht had questions regarding the ice ridge, wetlands,
flood plain and the area where the loons nest - opposed the plat.
Motion; A motion by Olson, second by Estes to approve with the
following conditions: 1. The road right-of-ways be properly taken
care of (intersection must be approved by the Land & Resource
Office). 2. The Bluff Areas must be identified on the final plat.
3. The Wetland Areas are delineated and identified on the final
plat. 4. A reduction in the number of lots, allowing a maximum of
4. 5. Lot 1 is to be made larger giving it lake access. 6.
Access to the lower level shall be by above ground stairways, with
the exception of Lot 4 (it has an existing path to the lake).
