This area would be used as a screened porch. The property is described as Lot 38, Fair Oaks, West Battle Lake in Girard Township. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against this request. A letter from John and Sandra Helling in favor of granting the variance request was read for the record. After consideration, motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously carried, to approve the variance as requested. Hardship being a substandard lot of record and the screened porch will not be any closer to the shoreline then the existing structure which is covered by a variance granted to the previous owner in 1982. The screened porch will be in line with the established building line and no precedents are being established. JUDITH A. HORN - APPROVED Judith A.
