the driveway is high enough to prevent drainage from the west. 2. All work lakeside of
the proposed drainfield shall be delayed until April 2001. 3. The remaining work
may be done this fall provided it is completed by October 15, 2000. 4. Appropriate
erosion control measures must be used.

Gary Bergem indicated the project should not cause any problems and spoke in favor.September 13. 2000

Meeting of the Otter Tail County Planning Commission was held on September 13, 2000
at 7:00 P.M. in the Commissioner’s Room, Courthouse, Fergus Falls, Minnesota.

A Preliminary Plat of “Oakview Country Estates", consisting of 16 residential lots, 1 block.
The property is described as Pt NWV, of SWV, , SEV, of SWV,, SWV, of SE% &
Government Lot 3, Section 20 of Aurdal Township: Non-Shoreland & Otter Tail River (56-
OTR), AG.
Member Absent: Frank Lachowitzer and Robert Schwartz.
David Hauser represented the County Attorney's Office and Bill Kalar represented the
Land & Resource Management Office.
Dan Sillerud & Jim Peterson (surveyor) represented the Application.
Minutes of August 9. 2000:
A motion by Estes, second by Bergemd to approve as presented. Voting: All members
in favor.
Clem Hendrickson (Anderson Land Surveying) indicated that the lots meet the double lot
size requirement for backlots (in a Shoreland Area).
Greg Tmax indicated the main concern with the property owners, in the Oakview Heights
development. Is safety. The road has curves and varying grades. He requested the
Commission to table the request for at least 30 days and also indicated that the
developer should pay for the majority of the cost of a paved walking path.
Bud Pierce (Aurdal Township Chairman) indicated that the Township requires 200’
frontage for lots and that he hoped their Ordinance requirements would be met.

Conrad & DeAnna Oleon/Inqrid Olson - Approved With Conditions:
A Preliminary Plat of “Connie Olson Development", consisting of 7 single family
residential lots, 1 block. The property is described as Part of Gov. Lot 1, Section 14 &
Part of Gov. Lot 1, Section 23 of Scambler Township; Tamarac Lake Tamarac Lake (56-
931), RD.
Motion: A motion by Trites, second by Boyer to table (at the Applicant’s request) the
Preliminary Plat to the October 11, 2000 meeting to allow the following issues to be
addressed: 1. The curve at proposed lots 9 & 10. 2. A pedestrian/bicycle path. 3. An
extension of right-of-way from the cul-de-sac to the easterly lotline.
Conrad Olson and Bob Oslund (surveyor) represented the Application.
Motion: A motion by Estes, second by Boyer to approve provided all lots meet the
minimum lot size requirements and there are not any substandard lots created.

David T Kuntz Trust - Approved With Conditions:
A Conditional Use Permit Application to landscape lot, there is little to do in front, and we
will level and control water drain to the back of lot. We would fill about 900 yards.
(Drawing is on file at Land & Resource Management.) This will Improve the neighbor’s
water flow on both sides. I would also like to pull back some dirt on the shoreline,
pushed up by the ice. I hope to do this right. I plan on making this my permanent
residence. The property is described as Marion Lake Lodge Lot 13, Block 1, Section 1 of
Dead Lake Township; Marion Lake (56-243), GD.Clem Hendrickson (surveyor) represented the Application.
