Deshane Beach, Dead Lake (56-383)

Dear Ms. Geisen:
I am returning check #2933, Site Permit Application and 6
copies of the narrative. The proposed project does not meet
the string test since part of the home would be less than 100'
from the ordinary high water level and therefore, in the Shore
Impact Zone. The 100' setback line shown on the drawing is
incorrect. Distances are always measured at the closest
points. For your information, I made a copy of the site plan
and then drew in and hi-lited the approximate 100' setback as
it should be measured.
The plan, as shown, requires a variance (Application and
Checklist enclosed). If a Variance Application is submitted,
an original scaled drawing and 6 copies are required along with
a $60.00 fee.
If the plan is revised so a variance is not needed, then the
original scaled drawing. Permit Application and $50.00 fee are
required.
Two additional items that need to be shown on the drawing are
the well and septic tank locations.
