After consideration, motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Cecil Femling and unanimously carried, to approve the variance as requested noting that the proposed enclosure will be no closer to the ordinary high water level than the existing structure. Randy Moore - Approved/Denied Randy Moore, Fargo, ND, requested a variance of 4’ 6” from the required road right-of-way setback of 20’ and a variance of 5’ from the required side lot line setback of 10’ for the placement of a car port 15’ 6” from the road right-of-way and 5’ from the side lot line. The property is described as Lot 6, Klien & Adam’s Beach, Little Marion Lake in Dead Lake Township. The applicant’s contractor represented the applicant at the public hearing. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After consideration, motion was made by George Walter, seconded by Randall Mann and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 4’ 6” from the required road right-of-way setback of 20’ for the placement of a car port 15’ 6” from the road right-of-way and to deny the side lot line variance as requested. Donald Boom - Approved Donald Boom, Wheaton, MN, requested the following: “taking 100’ of frontage off of parcel C adding it to parcel A to line up or square off with road and lake lots across the road.” The property is described as part of Government Lot 4 and part of the SW% of the SE14, Section 11 of Eagle Lake Township by Eagle Lake. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. It was noted that a phone call had been received on April 22, 1998 from a Mr. Lorentz objecting to the applicant’s request based on a lack of information concerning the reason for the request. After consideration, motion was made by John Everts, seconded by George Walter and unanimously carried, to approve the request as submitted with the condition that a registered surveyor’s drawing must be provided and noting that no significant net change or impact to the immediate area will resulted from the granting of the variance as requested. It was also noted that parcel C still has adequate area and frontage to meet the requirements of a platted lot on a general development lake.
