Tom and Amy Mielke - Approved as requested. (8:20 p.m.)
After consideration and discussion, Steve Schierer made a motion, seconded by Cecil Femling and unanimously
carried, to approve a variance of 84’ from the required septic system setback of 150’ for the installation of a sewage
system 66’ from the ordinary high water level. The Board noted in their approval that there is no other available site
for a system, that the applicants have had three installers review there property and that independently they have
concluded that this is the best location and the Land and Resource Department has agreed with the installers’
recommendation. Hardship is the terrain of the applicants’ property.
