I understand that I have applied for a variance from the requirements of the Shoreland Management Ordinance of Otter Tail
County.

Motion ws made by Craig Anderson, seconded by Cecil Femiing to grant a 75' variance from
the required south lot line setback of SO' for an attached 8' by 32' screened-in porch with
the condition that all of the water - oriented accessory structure guidelines be followed.
It was noted that both the roof and the floor of the proposed structure are pre-existing.
The motion failed with John Everts, Leslie Estes and Randall Mann voting no.
additional discussion and consideration, motion was made by John Everts, seconded by
Randall Mann and carried with Craig Anderson and George Walter voting no, to deny the
variance as requested as no adequate hardship had been shown and the proposed screened-in
area would be too close to the lot lines.
