Annual Countv Boat t Water Safety Agreement Motion by stone, seconded Windels and unanimously carried to authorize the Board's Chairman to execute the Annual County Boat & Water Safety Agreement with the State of Minnesota. Project 55 Participation Motion by Stone, seconded Windels and carried with Lindquist and Olson in favor and Lee opposed to adopt the following resolution supporting Project 55; WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Public Safety has continued to promote efforts to ensure compliance with the 55 mph speed limit through funding of County Sheriffs concentrated speed enforcement efforts; and, WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Public Safety has established Project 55 for 1991 to achieve the above stated purpose, promoting law enforcement and traffic safety; and,m WHEREAS, the County is eligible to receive up to $13,000 in reimbursement for participation in Project 55 to be conducted beginning on May 10, 1991, an extending through September 2, 1991, to offset any increased overtime patrol costs: «« Planning Coaalsslon May 1, 1991 Page 4• I.
