Motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Cecil Femling to deny the variance aS requested as no adequate
hardship had been shown and the applicant’s property is not wide enough to accommodate the placement of a water
- oriented accessory structure in a location that meets the requiremehts of the ordinance. The motion failed with
David Holmgren, Randall Mann and George Walter voting no. After.additional discussion and consideration, motion
was made by Randall Mann, seconded by Frank Lachowitef and carried with John Everts voting no, to allow the
placement of an 8’ by 12’ water - oriented accessory structure 10’ from the side lot line and 25’ from the ordinary high
water level. It was noted that the placement of a water - oriented accessory structure in this location will not restrict
the view of the adjacent property owners because of the substantial bluff on the applicant’s property.
