Robert and Sandra Fagen - Approved the variance as requested with a condition. (6:45 p.m.)
After consideration, Paul Larson made a motion, second by Steve Schierer and unanimously carried, to approve the variance as
described in the variance application dated July 28“^, 2008 and as depicted on the drawing submitted with the application with the
condition that the existing cabin must be removed on or before August 1, 2009. It was noted that the size of the proposed
development is reasonable and that the proposed development will be an improvement to the property. The practical
difficulties/hardships are the terrain and configuration of the applicants’ property.

Dear Bill,
I inspected the Fagen’s proposed drive way today at 39466 385**' Ave in Dead Lake Township, adjacent to
Marion Lake. The township will have no concern about the general location, which has ample sight
distance. We will require a 12 inch culvert to promote drainage, otherwise will defer to the county,
regarding specific location and design. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 218-758-
