I understand that I have applied for a variance from the requirements of the Shoreland Management Ordinance of Otter Tail
County. I understand I must contact my township in order to determine whether or not any additional variance and/or permits
are required by the township for my proposed project.

MOTION AS FOLLOWS:
Motion by John Everts, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously carried to approve a 16' by
16' screened porch exceeding I O' In height as the porch Is being tied Into the existing structure;
Motion by Craig Anderson, seconded by Cecil Femling and unanimously carried to approve the
addition of the deck as outlined In the application and drawing; Motion by Craig Anderson,
seconded by Dan Oehler and unanimously carried to approve the stairway as requested provided
It does not exceed a width of 4'; Motion by John Everts, seconded by Craig Anderson and
unanimously carried to approve the proposed garage addition to the existing home as shown on
the drawing to be within 20' of the drain field as there Is adequate room for the maintenance of
the drain field; Motion by George Walter, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously carried
to grant a 10' variance from the required 20' drain field setback for the location of the carport.
