It is my understanding that you were concerned about the latter you received from Malcolm Lee and the two ^ ^> ^ foot ditch which was indicated on the drawing attached to - ' the letter. I talked to Mr. Lee and he is concerned about the proper drainage and finishing of the area. I did advise that you had made arrangements to hire Don Harles to complete . ' the project and that Mr. Harles indicated that he would be preparing the drainage so that the roadway drained either east or west depending on the elevation at the particular point in the roadway. It is my understanding that the bottom of the drainage area will be stablized by some type . .; of planking or other wood structure. It is also ray under- „■ standing that the road will slant somewhat southward so that the drainage will not flow onto the lot to the north. I also advised Mr. Lee that the back slopes which may erode '■ would be seeded by some type of a hydroseeder which Mr. ‘- Harles uses in his work.
