Motion was made by John Everts, seconded by David Holmgren and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 3’
6" from the required side lot line setback of 10’ for the placement of 24’ by 30’ garage 6’ 6” from the side lot line at it
closest point and at least 26’ from the road right-of-way and a variance of 1 ’ from the required side lot line setback of
10’ for the placement of 10’ by 15’ utility structure 9’ from the lot line and at least 20’ from the road right-of-way with
the condition that the existing 10’ by 20’ shed must be removed by July 1, 1999. Hardship is the irregular shape and
size of the applicant’s property.

I am applying for this application for permission to build my
garage within 5 feet of the lot line in the very southwestern corner of the
building. I realize that the normal set back from the line is 10 feet. The
reason I require this variance is I was able to only purchase a portion of
lot 20 (I purchase 50 feet on the lakefront and 25 feet bn the road front
as per a previous variance). The garage will lye within the 10 foot
normal setback for the first 22 feet aprox. from the SE most corner, i-
wettld-also like to apply for permission to-haul in ^ibic yards
to-avoi TJ
The second concern was that if I would be allowed to remove my
old garage on the east side of lot 21 and replace it with a smaller shed
which would meet the set back from the road, but would remain the
same set back from the lot line as the old garage. This would be much
more pleasing to the eye as the old garage is in rough shape.
ALL OF THE ABOVE REQUESTS HAVE THE OK OF THE LAND
OWNERS DIRRECTLY NEXT TO THE LOTS AFFECTED, AND
LETTERS FROM THEM WILL BE DELIVERED AT THE MEETING

This letter is the notification of a change to the dimensions of the off set from the lot line
requested in the variance dated 10 September 1998. The change is to the first setback
request of 5 feet from the lot line, the new request is due to a mistake with the surveyor
and partly the staking of the garage on my part. The new request is that we be allowed to
place the garage within 3’6” of the lot line in the southern most comer and within 7’8”
in the northern mos*comg<p4i|NI#et back from the road will be inCJ^0|^d«o 2^^|onk.'

inconvenience and appreciate your concerning this matter.
