Motion
Tim and Sue Atkinson - Approved the variance as requested with a condition. (6:30 p.m.)
After consideration and discussion, Steve Schierer made a motion, second by Michael Harris and unanimously
carried, to approve a variance of 56’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100’ and a variance of 6’
from the required shore impact zone setback of 50’ for the placement of the south wall of a new addition 44’ from the
ordinary high water level with the condition that no more than 25% of the total lot area can be covered with impervious
surfaces. The Board noted that the proposed development is behind the existing building line and that the proposed
development will not obstruct the view from the adjacent properties. Hardship is a substandard lot of record.
