It is my understanding that Terry Lejcher of the DNR will be sending you a permit for this work. I am enclosing a copy of a DNR publication which deals with Beach Sand Please note that you may construct oneBlankets as per your request, without a permit provided you follow the listed conditions. As far as our office is concerned, you may construct a 3-1 slope on your property from a point 10' landward of the Ordinary High Water Hark of Long Lake to the lake in conjunction with your proposed sand blanket. This permission would also apply should you decide to place rock rip rap (see aforementioned DNR publication) along your shoreline in place of or together with your proposed sand blanket.
