Planning Commission Recommendations Conditional Use Permit - Lance Bergstrom: Motion by Rogness, second by Froemming, and unanimously carried to approve a Conditional Use Permit for an after-the-fact earth moving project as submitted on the revised plan received by the Land & Resource Management office on September 23, 2015. The Landscape Architect must oversee the project and the project may not begin prior to April 15, 2016. Conditional Use Permit - Patrick S. & Pamela Honer: Land & Resource Director, Bill Kalar reported that the Planning Commission recommended denial of this after-the-fact request to remove an ice ridge and place spoils in a wetland. Lengthy discussion took place with the applicants regarding the ice push that caused the debris and the high ridge, the need to move their dock away from the public access side of the property and the Wetland Conservation Act. Motion by Johnson, second by Rogness, and unanimously carried to deny this project as presented. The Land & Resource office will work with the applicants to develop a restoration plan regarding the ice ridge and space for their dock.
