G. W. Cardiff, Fargo, Nortli Dakota, requested permission to construct a boathouse
from highwater line, on a tract in G.L. 2, Section 27, Hobart Township, on Long8
After discussion, motion was made by George Walter, seconded by Calvin Johan-I.,ake.

Virgil Heldt, Moorhead, MM, requested permission to construct a 10' x 18' boathouse

Six, Hobart Township.After discussion, motion was made by George Walter, seconded
by, Craig Anderson and carried with Calvin Johanson voting "no", to approve construction
of a one story boathouse, at 4' from lakeshore, provided special protection is ..con
structed against erosion of the bank.Reason for granting being thebest place on lot
for boathouse.
Jerold J. Brenk, Frazee, MN,requested permission to construct a 16' x 22' garage
22 feet from road right-of-way, on Lot 2, 4th Add'n to Jerry-Harg Beach, Scalp Lake
in Hobart Township. Because of objections from the Hobart Town Board, motion was
made by Calvin Johanson, seconded by GeorgeWalter and carried, to table action for
consultation with the town board.
Lois Olson, Wh^,te Beaf Lake, MN, requested permission to construct a 6' x 8' storage
building approximately 20' back from ordinary high water mark, on Lot 6, Denwood
Acres, Pickeral Lake, Maine Township.After discussion, motion was made by Craig0
Anderson, seconded by GeorgeWalter and carried with David Trites voting "no", to
approve variance, because of the steep bank and for health reasons carrying motor
and heavy equipment up steep bank.
Jerry ffeldt, Maple Grove, MN, requested permission to construct house 100 from
water, rather than the required 200', on Lot 15 of the proposed plat of River Hills,
West Red River Lake, Frihcrg Township.After considerable discussion and listening
to the various interested parties, including several objections, motion was made by
Craig Anderson, seconded by Calvin Johanson and carried, to deny said' application.
Maurice Thompson, Underwood, MN, requested permission to build a screened deck 81'
from German Lake, on Ft. of G.L.5, Section 5 and G.L. 5, Section 4, Tordenskjold
After discuss.!on motion v/as made by Calvin Johanson, seconded by DavidTownship.
