Motion was made by John Events, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of
10’ from the required shore impact zone setback of 50’ and a variance of 60’ from the required ordinary high water
level setback of 100’ for the construction of a 10’ by 20’ screened in porch 40’ from the ordinary high water level with
the following conditions: 1.) that the construction of the screened in porch must start at least 6’ in from the
Northwest corner of the existing house, 2.) that the screened in porch not exceed 10’ in height, 3.) that the screened in porch must be constructed of at least 80% glass and^r screen and 4.) that the screened in porch must
not exceed 260 square feet of area. It was noted that starting construction 6’ in from the Northwest corner of the
existing structure will keep the proposed screened in porch out of the site line of the neighbor. Hardship being a
substandard lot of record.
