Motion
Hulda and Bruce Sannes - Approved the variance as requested with a condition. (6.42 p.m.)
After discussion and consideration, Randall Mann made a motion, second by Steve Schierer to deny the variance as requested as
the applicants have a reasonable use of their property without the granting of the variance as requested and noting that the
applicants have three existing non dwelling structures that are placed in locations not meeting the current setback requirements.
The motion failed with Ken Erickson, Michael Harris and Paul Larson voting no. After additional discussion and consideration,
Michael Harris made a motion, second by Ken Erickson and carried with Randall Mann and Steve Schierer voting no, to approve,
based on the applicants voluntary statement that before a site permit for the proposed development would be requested the
existing 4’ by 4.5” storage shed would either be removed or placed in a location that complies with the requirements of the
ordinance, a variance of 60’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100’ for the placement of an addition 40’ from
the ordinary high water level as described in the variance application and as depicted on the drawing submitted with the variance
