This lot was located to the west of the cabin located on Lot 1 of Wimer Lahe Resort. This cabin on Lot 1 had 40 feet of lake frontage and was owned by Vernon Daggett's mother and father. In 1962, Vernon Daggett piirchased the cabin fron his mother, a cabin on Lot 2 which is 61 feet of Wimer Lake Resort, which was also owned by Vernon and Helen Daggett. This cabin was adjacent to In 1989, my mfe and I became the owners of the cabin on Lot 1 of Wimer Lake Resort \diich has 40 feet of lake frontage. It is my father's wish that the westerly 80 feet of the 110 foot Lot of Sub Lot B of Lot 9 be transfered to his grandson, Robert Daggett. Robert and his wife, Teresa plan on building a home on this 80 ft, lot. It is also nw father's wish that my v/ife and I be granted the easterly 30 feet of the easterly 110 feet of the Sub Lot B of Lot 9. % wife and I request a variance for the purpose of transferring 30 feet from Sub Lot B to give iis a total of 70 feet for our property. In order to properly evaluate the situation, please provide as much supplementary information as possible, such as: maps, plans, information about surrounding property, etc. APPLICIANT SHALL BE PRESENT AT THE SCHEDULED HEARING. November 7th, 1991 Pacje 2./ JAMES BURMA - WITHDRAWN James Burma, Souix Falls, SD, requested a variance to replace an existing cabin with a new structure which will meet all of the required setbacks. The property is described as Lots 1,2, 3 and part of 4, Eagle Lake Beach, Eagle Lake in Eagle Lake Township, The audience was polled with Marty Eitreim speaking in favor of the variance request, After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by Victor Petterson and unanimously carried, to allow the applicant permission to withdraw their variance request as it was the feeling of the board that a variance is not required as there is only one dwelling on that particular lot and the new structure will meet all setback requirements. The applicant then requested to withdraw his request and will be granted a $ 15,00 refund, ■ lit'SI I IVERNON AND HELEN DAGGETT - APPROVED Vernon and Helen Daggett, Frazee, MN, requested a variance to transfer the easterly 30' of the easterly 1 10' of Sublot B of Lot 9. This would be attached to Lot 1 of Wimer Lake Resort. The remaining 80'would exist as a separate parcel. Lake frontage required is 100'. The property is located in Section 3, Hobart Township on Wimer Lake. Representing the applicant was Robert Daggett, David and Roxanna Daggett. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against this request. After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by Dan Oehler and unanimously carried, to approve the variance as requested, with the condition that the property will not lose its grandfather rights, that a surveyor's drawing will be provided and that the easterly 30' of Sublot B of Lot 9 will be permanently attached to Lot 1 of Weimers Lake Resort. Hardship is that at the present time two substandard lots of record exist and by granting this variance it makes the two substandard lots more equal. As the property presently exist a dwelling could be placed on each parcel. Granting the variance makes the living situation more comfortable. The required shoreline setback is 100', The property is descr ibed as Moltzan Survey Lots of Government Lot 7,64' on the Lake, also called Lot T13 and T14. Section 16 of Candor Township on Leek Lake. The applicant was represented by Jerry Kicker who would be the individual constructing the addition. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against this request. After consideration, motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously carried, to approve construction of a 16' by 24' addition to the existing home 51' from the lake provided that the addition meets both of the following requirements: It is no closer to the lake than the existing structure and that it is at least 1 O' off the east property line.
