Ronald Royce Stabnow, Battle Lake, MN, requested a variance to subdivide a triangular
tract, containing 50’ of lake frontage, froia the west side of the applicant's property for
permanent attachment to the adjacent property and a variance to subdivide a tract,
containing 50’ of lake frontage, from the east side of the applicant’s property for
permanent attachment to the adjacent property. Both tracts are less than 5 acres. The
property is described as part of Government Lots 5 and 6, Section 1 of Clitherall Township
on Clitherall Lake. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the
request. After consideration, motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Cecil Femling
and unanimously carried, to approve a variance to subdivide a triangular tract, containing
50' of lake frontage, from the west side of the applicant's property for permanent
attachment to the adjacent property and a variance to subdivide a tract, containing 50' of
lake frontage, from the east side of the applicant's property for permanent attachment to
the adjacent property with the condition that a registered surveyor’s drawing must be
presented when the parcels are recorded. It was noted that the granting of the variance
will increase the lot size of two adjacent lots without negatively affecting the
applicant's property.

Shelda A. Warren, Moorhead, MN, requested a variance to subdivide a parcel of less than 5
acres (approximately 2.5 acres) from an existing 93.62 acre parcel. The property is
described as the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter, except tract, the Southwest
Quarter of the Northeast Quarter and part of Government Lot 1, Section 10 of Dunn Township
on Pelican Lake.The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request.
Prior to the meeting the applicant had requested that her hearing be tabled until a later
date.After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by John Everts and
unanimously carried, to table the applicant's variance request until the December 14th,
199^ meeting.
