MINUTES OF THE MEETING
OF THE
OTTER TAIL COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
June 4, 1987
The Otter Tail County Boaild of Adjustment met Thursday, June 4, 1987,
with the following persons in attendance:
George Walter
Marcus Wiechmann
Craig Anderson
Robert Schwartz
John Everts
Tim Greip, Land & Resource Management office
Chairman Walter opened the meeting at 7:00 p.m., and hearing no i ,
corrections to the minutes of the May 7th meeting, declared same
approved as mailed.
Ihe following applications for variance were considered;
Michael A. Anderson, Fargo, ND, requested permission to bioild an
8' X 10' storage shed on the property line close to lake for storage
purposes, on Lot 4, Block 1 South Shores, West Silent Lake, Dora
Township. After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson
to grant an 80' variance from the lake, with no variance to lot
line, hardship beir>g the uniqvieness of the terrain. The motion was
secOTded by Marcus Wiechmann and carried upon the following vote;
All voting in favor
Harold Duencw, Fergijs Falls, I^, requested permission to place a 12'
X 12' storage structure 124' from the West Red River, on Lot 8, 1st
Add'n to Scenic Riverview Acres, Friberg Township. After considera
tion, motion was made by Craig Anderson to approve, precedence having
already been set, hardship being terrain, with said location being
the least conspicuous spot on the lot. The motion was seconded by
George Walter and carried upon the following vote:

Dennis R. Pausch, Frazee, MN, requested permission to put an addition
on to existing house, 70' from Long Lake, in G.L. 7, Section 28, Hcbart
Township. After consideration motion was made by Marcus Wiechmann
to approve, not encroaching any closer to lake than existing structure,
consistent with previous action of Board. The motion was seconded by
John Everts and carried ipon the following vote:
All voting in favor
Richard Safris request for variance was withdrawn prior to the meeting.

Richard Scholberg, Fargo, ND, requested permission to place 24' x 40'
mobile hone 6h feet from each side lot line, on Crystal Lake, Lot 34,
Block 3, Crystall Hills, Lida Township. After consideration, motion
was made by John Everts to approve a 3^5 foot variance on either side
lot line, hardship being a substandard lot of record with no better
use of lot due ;o its narrowness. The motion was seconded by Craig
Anderson and c uried upon the following vote;
